Maurice Duruflé - Veni Creator, Prélude, bar 158-162

For this chorale, again a sensitive, fluent legato is needed, with finger substitutions at the right moment. The swell-box closes in four steps. In subtle passages like this, I prefer to play the pedal with the toes in stead of the heel.

Voor dit koraal is wederom een gevoelig, vloeiend legato nodig, met vingerwisselingen op de juiste momenten. De zwelkast gaat in vier stappen dicht. In dergelijke subtiele passages speel ik het pedaal bij voorkeur met de punt in plaats van de hak van de voet.
